Dr. N. Nallusamy is the Registrar of Shiv Nadar University, Chennai. He has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and has over 28 years of teaching experience. He has taught a variety of subjects, including Thermodynamics, Thermal Engineering, Heat and Mass Transfer, Power Plant Engineering, Advanced IC Engines, Energy Conversion Techniques, Measurement and Control for Energy Systems, and Renewable Energy Sources.

Dr. Nallusamy's research interests include thermal energy storage, alternate fuels for I.C. Engines, bio diesel, fuel spray characteristics, heat transfer and heat pipes. He has supervised 5 Ph.D. students and is currently supervising 6 more. He has also published over 50 research papers in journals and presented his work at over 50 conferences.

Dr. Nallusamy is a life member of the Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and the Indian Society for Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT). He has also received several awards for his teaching and research, including the Best Faculty Award from M/s. Cognizant Technology Solutions and the Best Faculty Award from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai.

In addition to his academic work, Dr. Nallusamy has also held a number of administrative positions at SSN College of Engineering, including Head of Department for Mechanical Engineering, Institute Coordinator for NAAC Accreditation process, Nodal Officer for organizing Smart India Hackathon, and Dept. Coordinator for NBA Accreditation process.
